Exhibit 03·A — Surface break · sync: 'play'
A field guide to the ScrollObserver, read on the way down
Four stations, four synchronisation modes. Scrolling is diving: every animation below is driven by the scroll axis, and the gauge in the corner keeps the depth. This title assembles once, the moment the surface enters view — a one-shot observer, never a scrub.

Exhibit 03·B — Scrub vs. smoothing · sync: true / sync: 0.1
Photic zone
Two observers watch the same stretch of scroll. The school is bound one-to-one — sync: true — while the medusa follows the identical range through a smoothing factor of 0.1. Scroll hard and stop: one snaps, the other pours.
Exhibit 03·C — Playback methods · sync: 'play reverse'
Midnight zone
No sunlight reaches past a thousand metres; everything that glows down here makes its own. sync: 'play reverse' maps observer events to playback methods — entering plays the stagger forward, leaving runs it back. Scroll up, and the lights go out.
Exhibit 03·D — Arrival · sync: 'play'
The abyssal plain
A one-shot sequence, fired once when the station clears the viewport edge. The body surfaces out of the dark first, then the eye. The lure lights last.
